As I point out in my book, I am not the first, far from it, to warn against beliefs. The Buddha has obviously spoken of this many times. I wanted to share with you this magnificent excerpt from his teaching.

« To varying degrees
We're all blind,
Guided by blind people,
Who guide blind people.
And why a blind man
Could he not guide another one?
Until the day when, like the true blind,
We realize with wonder
That one can lead himself alone, guided by his inner light,
And that teachers and teachings are mere reference points
Like the noises of the outside world.
Don't believe what I'm saying.
Don't reject what I'm saying.
What remains will be your truth. »
