CO2 could soon propel cars
Carbon dioxide, which is so deplorable for its climate impact, could in the future be used to advance vehicles while respecting the environment.
A German automaker presented on Wednesday in Bern at the Swiss Energy and Climate Summit (SwissECS) a CO2 collector developed in Switzerland which could soon be produced in series.
«We see a very promising technology for long journeys by car with a neutral climate balance»said Hagen Seifert, responsible for environmental assessments at Audi, in front of the press. The German brand therefore intends to support next year the spin-off of the EPFZ at the origin of the invention.
